The service

A subscription email listing newly issued building permits that match the one trade and one county you choose (covering the whole county for that trade, optionally narrowed to a minimum job value), for $299 per month per trade, per county, billed monthly through Stripe. Each subscription is billed, emailed and canceled separately.

What a county covers

A county subscription covers permits from the cities and areas in that county that we collect today (listed on our home page), plus any we add later at no extra cost. We don't promise when, or whether, other cities will be added, and some cities publish only part of their permits or publish them late.

Seats and waitlist

Each trade is limited to 3 subscribers in each county we sell (the counties listed on our home page). Each subscription covers exactly one trade in one county and holds one seat. To cover another trade or county, you buy another subscription, at another $299 per month, if a seat is open there. If a seat isn't available, checkout is refused and you can join a waitlist instead. A seat is yours while your subscription is active, including the rest of a paid period after you cancel. When a subscription ends, the seat opens and we email the first person on that waitlist a link to claim it, holding the seat for them for 24 hours; if they don't claim it in time, it is offered to the next person. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee a seat. In the rare case two signups for the last seat complete at the same moment, the later one is refunded in full. You can switch a subscription to a different trade or county only where a seat is open; switching releases your old seat. You can't add a second trade or county to the same subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel any time from the link in any email. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund a month that has already started. If we fail to deliver the alerts for a reason on our side, contact us and we'll refund the time you missed.

Data accuracy

Permit information comes from public government records and is passed on as published. Trade tags are assigned automatically and may be incomplete. We don't guarantee that every permit is included or that any lead results in work.

One business, named users

Each subscription is for one business, for its own internal use. It can include up to 3 people at the same business email domain (for example name@yourcompany.com), each with their own email address. A subscription with a personal email address (such as Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook) goes to that one email only. Don't share logins, and don't forward the daily email to anyone outside your business.

Acceptable use

Use the alerts for your own business. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, forward or otherwise share the leads with anyone outside your business, or combine them into a product you sell, without our written permission. Don't scrape, crawl or use bots or scripts to copy our site, emails or data. Don't use the leads to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing. You are responsible for following the laws that apply when you contact anyone in the leads, including do-not-call, telemarketing and anti-spam rules.

Suspension

If we reasonably believe these terms are being broken, we may suspend or end the subscription without a refund.
